God tells us so many things about ourselves in the bible and if you know God, you know He does not exaggerate or lie. He tells us to be strong and courageous, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, that we are to be the light, and a thousand more truths and promises.

If there is one thing we all have in common, it's that WE GETTIN' OLD out here! Every day, our little cells grow larger and larger and pretty soon, they slow down their ability to divide and multiply, which for you and me means one thing: AGING.
While aging is a gift because it means God has given us another day of life, it's not always so enjoyable. Between new wrinkles, poor eyesight ,and achy joints, aging can be downright annoying.
But, it's a fact of life and one that we should all embrace...or at least die trying. Tune in to listen to Barbara's aging woes and her perspective on this whole getting old business.

Today, I sit down with my cousin, Danny Chavez, Founder and CEO of Empowering Our Community for Success. As a boy growing up without a father in his life, Danny turned to destructive behaviors that would ultimately lead him down a path of pain, heartache, and suffering.
After spending several years in the prison system and missing out on life with his five children, Danny gave his life to God at the age of 34. Since then, he's done his best to restore his relationships with others and give back to at-risk youth. His mission in life is to lead others to God, where they can experience the richness of His love and peace.
